Sterling Wilson Design & Development is a small, boutique design - build company located in Wilmette, Il. Diane Sterling Wilson started her design company over 18 years ago, following her career at Knoll in the contract furnishings industry. Her passion for design and architecture led her to a career in residential design and building. In the beginning, her main focus was primarily design, but as her business grew and design for new construction became the larger part of her business, she ventured out on her own to become one of the high end, quality builders on Chicago's North Shore. “Passion is what drives so many of us. Creating and building a beautiful and special home for my clients is really what drives me. Design is powerful, and we are so fortunate to be able to imagine and obtain the aesthetic atmosphere that makes us happy. I am very grateful that I am able to work in a field that is my passion. While I have made my career designing and building homes for my clients, my biggest goal and greatest success is leaving an elated client at the end of a project.
